The shopping quarter to the northeast of Piazza del Duomo – the few hundred square yards bordered by Via Monte Napoleone, Via Sant’Andrea, Via Spiga and Via Borgospesso, the so-called Quadrilatero d’Oro – is home to the shops of all the big designer names, along with design studios and contemporary art galleries.

▪ External beauty is highly prized in Milan. There is a need to have the latest and best of all things material, from clothes to cell phones.
▪ The emphasis on external values leads to an internal emptiness of the soul. Beauty that is skin deep doesn’t change character, nor does it hunger for God.
▪ Pray for the youth of Milan who are looking for values that will take them through life securely. Pray that they will find in their Creator and Redeemer the love that gives Eternal Life.
