2004 – 03

PRAISES & ANSWERED PRAYER REQUESTS:

·          We have been granted our Italian visas!  This is a huge answer to prayer, as we are now cleared to go to Milan.

NEW PRAYER REQUESTS:

·          Our team leaders, Tom and Bonnie Hearon, will be finalizing our living arrangements in the next week or so.   Pray that God will show them exactly where He wants us to be.

·          Plans are also being finalized for our language study and childcare for Jake which will be needed each day for a few hours.

·          Pray for us as we pack our suitcases, that we may have wisdom in knowing what needs to go to Milan and what should stay in the U.S.  (It is not easy narrowing down all of our belongings to what we can take with us on the plane!)

·          Pray for travel mercies.  It will be a long flight…especially for Jake.  Pray that we will not have any trouble going through customs and that all of our luggage will arrive safely.  We will be flying out of Little Rock on April 19 and will arrive in Milan on April 20.

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS:

·          Pray for the work of Team Milano, the team on which we will be serving.
In addition to Tom and Bonnie, the other team members include Dave and Adriana Lopez.  Pray that God will call others to join us!

·          Most importantly…pray for the Italian people among whom we have been called to minister.  Pray that the Holy Spirit would prepare the hearts of those with whom we will come in contact, and that God would continue to grow His love for them in our hearts.

Dear Prayer Partners,

We are so excited…the time has finally arrived!  We will be departing for Milan on April 19.  We have been in Little Rock since Allyson wrote our last prayer letter.

On March 18 we flew to Houston to make a personal appearance at the Italian Consulate.  It was a very short visit, but it accomplished its purpose.  Just one week later we received our visas in the mail.  Thank you to all that prayed for our visas to be granted!

It is hard to believe that our next monthly prayer letter will be written from Italy.  We will be experiencing many changes in the coming weeks, and ask that you keep us in your prayers during our transitioning.  It would be very easy to become overwhelmed at what lies ahead, but we feel such a peace about it all.  We know in our hearts that God has called us to Milan and that He has been preparing us for this adventure of a lifetime.  We have been praying about this for several years, and we are READY TO GO!

Remember…we are counting on your prayer support!  Let us know if you have any questions or if we can pray for you in any way.  We would love to hear from you.

 Ciao, and God bless!

Jason (for the three of us)
