Cardboard Testimonies…

We hope this video blesses you as it did us. This is what it is all about!

Before the Throne of God Above

9 02 2008

I came across this video on Youtube today. I love the song…hope you are touched by it as well.

Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea.
A great high Priest whose Name is Love
Who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is written on His heart.
I know that while in Heaven He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin.
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free.
For God the just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Praise the One, Risen Son of God!

Interesting article published in USA Today

7 01 2008

usat_logo2.gifWe stumbled across this article in yesterday’s USA Today. With the Euro getting stronger and the dollar getting weaker we are going to get a chance to get better at our “budgeting skills” :-)

Weak dollar undercuts missionaries, relief workers

YESSSS! We are the CHAMPS!!!

23 05 2007

08.jpgWe (mainly Jason) are so excited! A.C. Milan has just won the final game of the Champion’s League tournament…they are the best team in Europe. Jason actually ended up watching the game by himself…kinda depressing considering how he would’ve watched it if we were in Milan. We have already called several of our Italian friends and apparently the whole city is going wild. FORZA MILAN!!!!

Kaka’ let the world know exactly where he stands. It was pretty cool seeing him give the glory to God.

We’ve arrived!

10 05 2007

img_5114.jpgThank you all for praying for us. We had a pretty intense final 2 days in Milan followed by a long trip back to Texas. All in all, Allyson and I went for about 65 hours without sleep! We have now rested a little and are feeling much better. It was so special to arrive at the airport and have our family waiting for us…even holding welcome posters. :-) We came back with 8 large suitcases, 8 carry-on bags, 2 car seats, and a stroller…oh yeah, and 2 kids. ;-) It is a minor miracle that we were able to get it all here. Actually, I should say almost all…we are still waiting for 2 of the suitcases to be delivered to us today because they missed the connection flight in Germany.

img_5120.jpgIt is kinda weird being back in the USA…a lot has changed in these three years. We will write a little more when we get a chance.

Ciao!
