New “Atleti di Cristo” video

Check out the new “official” video Jason put together for our athlete friends in Italy. They have been getting more and more attention from the media, and as a result the website is getting many more hits. Just yesterday it received over 1,000 hits! Pray that those who visit the website will be impacted and challenged by the players’ testimonies. In case you have never been to the site, it is located at www.atletidicristo.org. It is all in Italian, but you can at least see the athletes who are doing their part in spreading the message of the Gospel. Pray for the group to continue to grow. They have tremendous potential for reaching many Italians.

The Atleti di Cristo were featured on Italian national TV

God is opening doors for the Atleti di Cristo with whom Jason works. Our friend, Nicola Legrottaglie, is having a “come-back” year with his soccer team (Juventus), and he has had several television appearances in the past two months in which he has given the glory to God. Please pray for his continued boldness as he speaks, and ask God to continue to provide these athletes with opportunities to speak of their faith to many!

YESSSS! We are the CHAMPS!!!

We (mainly Jason) are so excited! A.C. Milan has just won the final game of the Champion’s League tournament…they are the best team in Europe. Jason actually ended up watching the game by himself…kinda depressing considering how he would’ve watched it if we were in Milan. We have already called several of our Italian friends and apparently the whole city is going wild. FORZA MILAN!!!!

Kaka’ let the world know exactly where he stands. It was pretty cool seeing him give the glory to God.

 

A Very Special Night

Tonight was a very special night. Our church here in Italy, Chiesa Stadera, co-sponsored an evangelistic concert in which some of the Atleti di Cristo with whom Jason works shared their testimony. There were about 350 people in attendance…a huge success in terms of Christian events in Milan! This was a great way to close out our term here because so many of our friends were present. The neat thing is that these friends were from all different places, different walks of life…yet all came to the same event. There were our special Stadera church friends, the Atleti di Cristo, friends from the Brazilian/Italian church, friends from other churches, musician friends, friends whom we have seen come to know the Lord, some of our fellow missionary friends, and even some whom we had only had email contact with up until tonight. It served as a

reminder of how good God has been to us over these past three years. While we have had some difficult times, He has provided us with so many friends. It is so neat to see how God has orchestrated these relationships, and to see how they all converged on this very special night.
